Welcome to 221 Speedway

221 Speedway was built in 2023 by Lenny Hobbs, quickly becoming known as one of the most exciting grassroots kart racing facilities in the Southeast. Through Mr. Hobbs’ vision and dedication, the track developed a strong reputation for competitive racing, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to the karting community. The facility has already hosted several major events including the Summer Shootout, the David Mize Memorial, the Peach State 100, and the Maxxis Tread Nationals, drawing racers from across the region and helping establish 221 Speedway as a premier destination for kart racing. In the beginning of 2026, 221 Speedway was purchased by Josh Antley, a lifelong racer and passionate supporter of grassroots motorsports. Antley’s goal is to continue the tradition that Mr. Hobbs established while working to grow the facility, bring new opportunities to racers, and create even bigger events for the karting community. With a focus on family, competition, and the future of kart racing, 221 Speedway looks forward to welcoming racers and fans for many years to come.
